Ryan goes to state!

Last Sunday Ryan was in a tournament in Winona, with the Cannon falls team. They won 3rd that day, out of 8 teams, in a team contest. Ryan has qualified, individually, for the state tournament. It will be in Rochester at the college sports center, coming up in March. This is his 4th year he has gone to state. One of those years he recieved 2nd in his weight division. We, as grandparents, are very proud of him, even though it is very hard for Grandma Bonnie to watch him wrestle! GO RYAN---GO CANNON BOMBERS!

Love, Bonnie and Jim

Here is a picture of Nicholas and Logan laughing and playing.

The girls.....

The girls and Logan....Nicholas and Amelia didn't make the picture..

Kelly was on the move all day so I didn't get any of her...I will get more on Saturday at Jeffrey & Sarah's and post those too.

I hope to see pictures of some of the rest of the families too.

Saying Hi

Hi all,

We missed so many of you at Kelly's going away party on Sunday. I took some pix so will download them tonight and get them posted. It was a bittersweet day. Sad to see them all leave us again after such a short time "home", but happy that they have been so blessed to be able to experience life. Blessed also, because we live in a time where we have phones, internet and best of all, airplanes--the world is getting smaller!!

I know this is the Norstad family blog but since Gregg is part of my family (most of the time)....that means his kids are too. This is a picture of his youngest granddaughter. Kacee is her name--she just had her first birthday on Valentine's Day. She is such a happy little girl. This is Gregg's daughter, Jenny's, baby.

Gregg has two children; Joe who is like 34ish, married to Kari--they have two children: Lowell and Chloe..they live in Plymouth.

Jenny is married to Edwin--they have four children: Shannon, Blaise, Edwin Jr and Kacee...they live in Pine City.
Anyway, this is Kacee!!

Have a wonderfully blessed day!

Deb

Sophie & Ryan

Hi all,
me again...Auntie Debbie... since I've got no kids of my own and my very cute dog might be only extremely cute to me so I won't bore you with too many pix of him...I have some pix of Ryan and Sophie that I thought I'd share.

Ryan's is his school Christmas program Dec 2008 and Sophies is her dance recital at the school, Dec 2008. I believe if you click on the picture or double click; it will enlarge the picture for you.(I hope)

Ryan is in the white shirt behind the little red head!

Sophies is the cute one in the middle with her arms down by her side.

More later.

Pic of sibs

Here is the group that went to the Plymouth Playhouse last Saturday night. Hopefully, you can tell who's who...I'm not the best at attaching things yet.

Blessings!!!

Sibs get together

Hi all,

Auntie Deb(bie) here...Hope all is well with everyone.
Last Saturday night all of the MN sibs got together at the Plymouth Playhouse for dinner and a play...the rest stayed over at the hotel ... I drove home. We saw "Church Basement Ladies" quite a funny little musical! "A good time was had by all"... it was a great evening out and great to see my brothers and their wives.
I have pictures to download and attach here but didn't have time yesterday...cleaned house and put out the Spring/Easter decorations.

Cannon Falls Bomber Dance Team (BDT) took second at the state tournament Saturday! My good friends daughter, Jenna, dances. She's been on Varsity since 8th grade! A group of us went to see them in the sectionals on the 9th of Feb and all had T-shirts that said, "Jenna's favorite Aunt"...we thought they were funny (so did Sue and Jenna) but ohmygosh...her real aunts didn't see much humor in it....oops!

Anyway...I'll work on getting some pictures posted in the next day or two...should I do that before or after I work on my taxes??? hmmmm.

Love and God's blessings to you all!
Auntie Deb

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

I wanted to take the time to wish my favorite Grandpa a very Happy Birthday! Thank you for letting me stay over night at your house, and even letting me sneak into bed with you and Grandma in the morning! Also, thank you for checking on me after both of the electric fence incidents, and looking for me the weekend I went missing after said incident. You are so nice, Grandpa, the way you let me ride on the tractor with you and also when you bring me with you to go feed the cows. Happy Birthday! From: Sampson

I love this picture because it is so "typical" dad! Watching sports, reading the sports page (from the evil Star Tribune!) and probably even has a sports sweatshirt on! We love you dad! Happy Birthday from all of us!!
